A Friend for Princess Ada

Hardcover, author signed copy. $11.99  for a limited time!

"Princess Ada is lonely and needs a friend. She decrees that the kingdom search far and wide to find her a perfect playmate. As the villagers bring creature after creature in to please her, none will do. A seal is too slippery, an elephant too big, and a sloth too lazy   . . . However, at long last, the perfect companion is found, one that combines the best attributes each animal presented has to offer! Children will love to root for Princess Ada and her new pal, as they discover fun animals along the way."

A Friend for Princess Ada was inspired by my experience adopting and falling in love with my first dog, a lab-pit bull mix named Simon. It is my love letter to him, and to my daughter whom he adored.  I am so excited for animal lovers, princesses, and kid lit fans worldwide to get to know Princess Ada and her animal friends. I know you will love them just as much as I do!

The Order of Us: Expectations, Restoration,
and the Beauty of Chaos

A Moms Who Write Anthology

Available Now

"Natural order is imperative for existence. Without it our world falls apart—we need leadership and food chains and circadian rhythm the way we need air. But what happens when we adopt an order that ISN'T natural? At some point, there will be a breakdown and we will realize that there is a lot more to life than what we know. The boxes that we put ourselves in suddenly feel too small, and the Order of Things feels a lot more negotiable. We fall apart, and eventually we put ourselves back together. This is when we reclaim our beauty and our chaos. When we restore The Order of Us."

I am so honored to have my voice included in this anthology.  My piece, an essay titled Miscarriage, makes up just one of 54 female voices sharing a part of their unique journey.  I hope that as you read this anthology you will feel seen and will be reminded that you are not alone.  You are a member of womankind, and we are remarkable.  To order The Order of Us click the link below.
